Jaehyun Kim is the captain of the Crevisse exploration crew, a trustworthy friend of social innovation entrepreneurs and an impact investor focusing on acceleration of social innovation businesses.

Jaehyun started his own business at the age of twenty by building a local Chinese restaurant website in 2002. He is the founder and CEO of the impact venture group "Crevisse Partners" where he has been working for 18 years. He took part in investment and support for over 20 ventures. The businesses were related to social problems such as education, environment, urbanization and employment. From 2011 to 2014, he was also the youngest senior executive in Kyowon Group, the biggest education company in Korea. He was founder and CEO of Kyowon Creative, set up an R&D and technology innovation system, developed new digital English education products called DoYoSe English and directed the company’s internal English education team and businesses.

As a CEO of impact venture group, Crevisse Partners, Jaehyun is involved in the management of five Crevisse In-company Ventures and four Crevisse Affiliate Companies joint founded by Crevisse Partners. He also has directed final investment decisions of over 20 Crevisse Investment Portfolios.

In addition to participating in individual companies, Jaehyun served as a panel of Social Venture Competition Asia (SVCA), as an administrator member of SEN (Social Enterprise Network) Impact Investing Club, and as a Central Operation Committee member of Korea Social Enterprise Promotion Agency's acceleration program. He also helped politicians and Korean conglomerates communicate with society by working in the past Presidential Promotion and Communication advisory committee, and POSCO Social Communication advisory committee, etc.

Jaehyun is also one of only two Koreans who had been accepted by Softbank Academia since 2014, a program to find the successor of founder and CEO of Softbank Group, Jong-eui, Son. Since 2017 he has been directing "RemakeCity", an urban problem-solving acceleration program that supports the growth of social impact ventures in three countries (Seoul of South Korea, Jakarta of Indonesia and Hanoi/Ho Chi Minh of Vietnam) with Seoul Metropolitan Government and KOICA. Also, he has been operating Korea’s first impact investment fund "Crevisse Impact Venture Fund" since 2018.
